Alex Trofimovsky got his B.A. in psychology from the College of Staten Island of the City University of New York. Currently, he is pursuing his interest in human factors and the usability of computer based systems and automobiles. 

He entered the M.A. program in Human Factors and Applied Cognition at George Mason University in the fall of 2006.  He is part of the CiDEL research group with Dr. Chris Monk as well as the Imagery Lab with Dr. Maria Kozhevnikov.  He also interns at the Human Factors and Usability Research Group at the U.S. Census Bureau/ Statistical Research Division in Suitland, M.D.

Alex maintains professional student membership in the Cognitive Science Society, the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the American Psychological Association Division 21: Applied Experimental and Engineering Psychology, the Usability Professionals’ Association, The Washington DC Chapter of the Usability Professionals’ Association, and the American Association of Exporters and Importers.
