Dr. Kello received his Ph.D. from the University of California at Santa Cruz, where he did empirical and computational work in psycholinguistics, speech production, and word reading. Dr. Kello went on to pursue his research interests as a Postdoctoral Fellow at Carnegie Mellon University, where he focused on neural network models of spoken and written language processing. He further pursued his interests in spoken language processing as an Advanced Research Associate at the House Ear Institute. While Dr. Kello continues to work in these areas as a faculty member at George Mason University, he has also branched out to study the dynamics of cognitive processes.
