Mark is a first year Masters student in the Human Factors and Applied Cognition program. He received his Bachelors degree in 2007 from George Mason University with a major in Psychology and a minor in Biology.

His research interests include usability, human-computer interaction, and cognitive dynamics. He is very interested in 1/f noise and complexity. He is currently a research assistant in Dr. Chris Kello's cognitive dynamics lab, studying the underlying principles behind dyadic interaction.

Mark expects to graduate in May 2009, and plans to continue in the doctoral program. Upon graduation, he intends to work in the field of commercial technology and software, focusing on improving the user experience.

Mark maintains current membership in the Human Factors and Ergonomics Society, the American Psychological Association, and Psi Chi Honor Society.
