Background

I was born in Torrance, California in 1980 and lived in Palos Verdes until I was eighteen. After completing my high school degree at Palos Verdes Peninsula High School I went on to the University of California at San Diego (UCSD).

At UCSD I completed my B.S. in Cognitive Science and I wrote my undergraduate thesis on the role of external representations in architecture under Dr. Edwin Hutchins. After completing my B.S. I moved to Fairfax, Virginia in August of 2002 to enter the Human Factors doctoral program at George Mason University.
